Plans For Moor House: Other Plans

I plan to add something new to each house meeting, which is the Moor House Meeting Talent Show. I feel that other Moorians think that house meetings are boring, and I hope that this 5 to 10-minute show allows house meetings to be more engaging, and Moorians can learn more about their house mates in new ways and discover hobbies or fun facts about their house mates. Some examples of what can be performed are playing a musical instrument, singing, performing magic tricks, et cetera. Moorians can vote for their favourite act after the house meeting, and the winner can win Moor House merchandise.

I plan to implement a Moor House Study Group during the school holidays. Sometimes, whenever I have help with my schoolwork and want to ask my classmates for help urgently, I find that they too may be unable to help me. I believe that this is also the same for many other Moorians. As such, a study group can widen the scope that Moorians can seek academic help from. For example, Year 1 and Year 2 students can ask their seniors in Year 3 or Year 4 on how to do certain questions. This will be a group set up on Microsoft Teams, such that each student can be held accountable for any misbehaviour, such as spamming or sending inappropriate content. Moor House EXCO will act as moderators.

Lastly, I plan to create a feedback form, where Moorians from Year 1 to 4 can voice out their opinions about Moor House and the activities that the EXCO is planning. To reduce spam, this form is only open to Moor House Junior EXCO members. If Moorians would like to feedback anything to us, they can do so through their Junior EXCO members, and they will fill up the form. This is a more centralised method of gathering feedback rather than all the Junior EXCO members messaging individually through WhatsApp, since some valuable feedback might be lost in the process.
